Chattisgarh State to distribute 16.5 Lakh LED Study LightsOneChildOneLight Founder and Chief Trustee, Dr. Ranga's work with the Chattisgarh Government for the last 3 years has finally paid off in the form of the State Government officially shunning use of Kerosene for lighting - to be the first one to do so among all Indian States - by substituting fuel based lamps with Solar LED Lighting systems and OneChildOneLight study lights. This initiative will provide LED Lights to 13 Lakh families residing in about 95 Tribal dominated habitations, and Solar LED Study Lights to 16.5 Lakh school students at no cost, aiming to make the State kerosene-free when it comes lighting use.
